Roof Restoration Details
Unfortunately this Gladstone Park home was the result of a roof "paint" by unqualified roofers. Roof ResQ's FREE 50 Point Inspection showed the cement tiles were "painted" and band-aid fixed only 3 years ago. Not only has the paint begun peeling and fading the colour of the tile, the valley irons were also leaking again.
As part of our roof restoration process, Roof ResQ took off all existing ridge caps and removed all old cement. The next step was replacing all ridge caps, installing new valley irons made with Bluescope steel and re-bedding and pointing with Selley’s point works. This proven process is to ensure the entire roof is water tight and is anything but a quick fix paint job.
We then apply the 4 coat Dulux AcraTex system to sterilise, prime/seal and coat with Next Generation roof membrane. Instead of painting the roof, Dulux AcraTex provides ultimate protection and increases the life of the tile.
The end result is a beautiful cement tile roof, ResQ-ed to last a life time! Feel free to contact us to get your FREE 50 Point inspection today, or give us a call.
